WWW - Territories Part 7

Somehow another episode of Territories got lost. Instead of recording a brief recap, we decided to use Micah's in universe radio segments to create a brief in universe podcast. This segment will cover both aspects of the original episode 7 and other goings-on of the Territories-verse.

While Reefer and the Baron are off on their misadventures, Ōzeki is leading the other crew to Huntington, WV to do a show at WVCW, West Virginia Championship Wrestling. They are marked to recruit Dee Marshall, the group's champion and operator. While Ōzeki spoke with Dee, the others wandered around backstage. In their discussions, the eventually find out that Dee is a jerk that has essentially turned WVCW into an old boys club, reliving their glory days by endlessly winning against the younger wrestlers, not allowing women to wrestle, and shooting kind of hard, always putting the others at risk.

Rather than committing to recruit Dee, Ōzeki and the others pivot to trying to recruit some of the workers and younger wrestlers at WVCW. They are scheduled to work a heavily scripted, very basic show tonight and get their butts handed to them by Dee and his cronies. Ōzeki even had to fight to get a match for Cecilia and Ronin. The crew has other plans for how the night will go...

Greg -  Ōzeki, The Shoot Fighter - The newly minted champion of Badlands Wrestling,  Ōzeki has found himself to be a leader at the company and is trying to do his best. especially with trying to be a mentor and friend to his friend's daughter:
Ronin Azteca, The High Flyer - The scion of a wrestling great, Ronin sought to step out of her father's shadow and carve her own path. Fate has had her cross paths with Ōzeki and she is looking up to him as a mentor

Noah - Tor Baldhr, The Wasted - A Hardcore wrestler, Tor has taken to alcohol to ease his pains. Seeing Reefer's troubles is giving him some second thoughts...

Reefer, the Baron, and their other wrestlers (including newly PC Halo'd Owen ' The Zone' Hibbert) get ready for their show and... look, Greg is going to be honest here... things get wild. Enjoy.

Greg - Owen 'The Zone' Hibbert, The Young One - An up and comer for Badlands, his barely there gimmick is that he's a rocker trying to get more popular as a wrestler.

Noah - Baron Basarab, The Monster - A vampire. Just... just a vampire.

With a new champion... belted, Badlands has more eyes and more cash. Looking to leverage this, the top talent has been recruited to scour some of the other territories nearby to get new wrestling talent and behind the scenes staff. Can Reefer and the Baron be trusted to do this?

[Please note: We had some You Know What and the original episode 4 was lost. That episode was mostly set up for this. We recorded a brief intro outlining what happened prior to this episode.]

Badlands Wrestling may be down an owner, but now has an opportunity. Cedric Tanner, the owner's son and now the current owner, wants to use this transition as an opportunity to build Badlands into something greater. He's hired some new wrestlers. He's scheduled a tournament pay-per-view. And, one way or another, someone is walking away tonight a champion. Will it be one of our three protagonists...?
