Table Chatter - Interview with Chris Spivey of Darker Hue Studios
Technical Difficulties

Welcome to another episode of Table Chatter! We were fortunate enough to have Chris Spivey from Darker Hue Studios on again! He joined us to talk Harlem Unbound Second Edition, Haunted West, and, as was breaking when we talked with him, his recent election to Vice President at Game Manufacturers Association.

Please note, towards the end of the interview you’ll notice some of Chris’ words get glitched and some of the things he said were missing from the final recording. Chris and the Tech Diff crew wanted to make sure you heard. Ethan was asking Chris about other game developers to support, and Chris brings up Dissident Whispers by Tuesday Knight Games. This is an anthology of two page RPG scenarios for multiple systems including Mothership and DCC, as well as systemless scenarios. This book was made in support of Black Lives Matter, with all proceeds going to the National Bail Fund Network. He also wanted to highlight the great cover art made by artist Jabari Weathers, who has also worked on the 7th Sea Sorte Deck and Bluebeard’s Bride Tarot of Servants. You can also donate directly to the National Bail Fund Network, and they are but one group doing important work in the country right now. There is also the National Bail Out, local chapters of Black Lives Matter, and many other groups that need your support.

Finally, you can find Chris and his work in a lot of places. You can follow him on Twitter @Darker _Hue, and follow the company online at www.darkerhuestudios.com. Harlem Unbound Second Edition is published by Chaosium, and is available as a pdf right now on their website, with the physical book coming soon. Finally, Haunted West is still in production, and you can follow it’s progress from Chris’ Twitter or through Darker Hues’ Patreon.
